Fake IRS Scam

I do not want calls from this compan

I am so tired to receive those calls from Telemarketer

It IS Scotia Dealer Advantage and they called me in regards to a question regarding reporting to the credit unions.  No issues at all and they were professional and courteous.

Saying i have the authorities coming after me because of "serious allegations" , suggested paying them the revoke it

Such a nuisance getting calls from other countries

Just got a call from that number too, only rang a couple times and no voicemail. One search of the number said it’s a collections agency.
But yeah, weird they left no voicemail.
I received the call near 10am

Got a call from this number claiming they are from the tax department. Would not answer the call as I know it is a scam.

No answer when called back

WTF ? Me too ! What cop uses a computerized voice ? It's going to tough to arrest a person in Alberta from Quebec . Especially , prying my cold dead hands from his neck !

Yea well I got the call to and I see on this page there's a lot of head scratching going on and everyone saying the same thing so with that:

I keep getting calls from this number but never hear it ring it just says I missed a call from this number.

lawsuit and treatening. Fake scam thing. Don't answer lol

They have been leaving blank messages in my mailbox. Called them back and their customer service person claimed they do not call me (without even asking for my number) and very much wanted to know my name and my company. Hope they get fined for harassment and false advertising.

Same situation! Any details?

est très suspecte je ne connais pas ce nom et ce numéro de téléphone

revenue canada suing me. yeah right

In fact, we are who we say we are - McGill University's Alumni Records Department. If you are a McGill graduate getting calls but no messages, it is because we call thousands of alumni every night and leaving messages for each one would be inconvenient on both ends (ie. it would drastically cut down the number of graduates we reach in a night, and would annoy grads with more voicemails) and it is just a routine call so there's no urgency to leave a message. If you are getting calls from this number and are NOT a graduate, it is most likely because we are looking to update a graduate's file (because we've lost contact with them) that has a similar name to yours. It is not a scam, it is McGill, we have the local 514 number (followed by 398, which EVERY McGill phone number contains) and a toll-free 1-800 number (800-872-8431, because we call all over North America)

I just received a call from this number. I didn't answer. When I called back she said it's Canada Revenue Agency and I was ask for my name. Unfortunately I give it . Hope I will get rid of this.
